The WDC NanoLounge

There are definitely some writing fiends, WriterAngel...and I'm trying to be one of them.

I'm starting day 4 with 12,313. I got around 2k, then 8k, then 2k and am hoping for 8k today, then another 2k tomorrow. It's how my days are set with work taking me away from home 12 or more hours and school giving me a lot of free time. I'm hoping to be done by the 15th, if not sooner, because I have a LOT going on and am right now not keeping up with assignments. NaNo 1st! But I figure if I can get my NaNo to 50k, and better yet, if I can get the whole story more or less down, then I'm okay with not writing the rest of the month. Then I can actually do schoolwork. Priorities!

My writing is going pretty smoothly and quickly, as you can see. But I'm not pleased with the comedy portion. However, I figure it's too hard to write both fast and funny, so I'll work on fast, then make it funny later. I feel like that's the way for me to go this year what with a dual masters, 2 internships, sleep, etc.. But I am pleased with how it's going, even if I'm not so pleased with how well it's going. Or maybe I'm pleased with how well it's going, just not with how well it's written. But then, NaNo isn't supposed to be our best writing, so I figure it's fine. That's what December, January, etc. are for.
