The Contest Challenge

I'm about to do a Newsfeed Celebration in the next few days. I checked your list. If you do January and February of 2020, I can shift your completed years to end in December instead of March, like they currently do, then you can be in the upcoming celebration. Do you think you can finish 2 entries in the next few days? I think you can!

But if you are getting your arms amputated or for some other reason can't do 2 entries in the next few days, it's fine. There will be future Newsfeed Celebrations. I just find that if I don't have enough celebrants, they don't get as many MBs. Maybe those who only do it for the GPs don't think it's worth their while? Whatever the reason, if you don't finish in the next few days, you'll have to wait several months until we build up enough winners again. It's fine. I just want you to know the situation.

Also, consider catching up on the entire challenge...if you aren't doing that already. You only have to do 2017, 2018, and 2019. Okay, it might seem like a lot, but if you break it into bite-sized bits, it's fine. You can do 1 contest per month, choosing whatever strikes your fancy. Or you can do all the January contests in January, all the February contests in February, etc. Whatever works best for you so it feels doable.

Just to entice you, I'm pondering 2 different rewards for the 2023 Giant January Celebration. Either you would get a 1-year Premium membership or you'd get to commission your own MB again. That option would be cheaper and I do worry that at some point SM is going to cut off commissioning exclusive MBs because there's a LOT of them and eventually loading the list will become too unwieldy. But we'll see what I'm thinking and how rich I'm feeling next November/December/January.
