Ok, so it's been a few weeks since I wrote a diet update. Life got overwhelmingly busy for awhile. I think it is starting to level back out somewhat now to a point at least. I have been talking to a nutritionist. He has been helping me simply focus on developing healthier habits. one of the first things he had me do is to stop doing anything else while I eat. Focus on just eating and learning the feeling of full. Be aware of what you are putting in. Then we worked on starting with smaller portions. Now I am working towards planning my meals out ahead of time. Yeah, that's way easier said than done.
The rheumatologist put me on Celebrex and Hydrochloraquine. I started taking them the day after my surgery, and they are helping. I am feeling some better. I think one of these may act as a bit of an appetite suppressant. That helps. I am down to 220 pounds. I have lost 10 pounds over the last couple of months.
