Okay, I'm gonna do it. I kept thinking, "I'll find a song first and then brainstorm the story and then once I feel certain I'll actually manage to write a story, I'll make a post with the song."

But then I saw your post in the forum, and you make a good point. So I chose a song this evening to goad myself to actually write a thing. Now that I've posted, I can't back out. So here goes! I had a healthy list of potential songs to choose from, but I narrowed it down and chose "Rivers in the Dust" by Radical Face. If I've done everything correctly, it should be embedded below.
