It's tough when it comes to adding individual links and where to place them. If you think about the number of page loads an interactive story is going to have, compared to the number of times an awardicon is going to be given to an item... Well, it's a dramatic difference!

Interactive pages are loaded somewhere in the neighborhood of hundreds of thousands of times per day. An awardicon may be given to an interactive maybe once or twice a week, if that. Writing.Com has a lot of functions, features and options and they can't/shouldn't always be just one click away in every scenario... It leads to bloated and confusion navigation... which we admittedly already have (in the eyes of a lot of leisurely, non-power users). Where to put links so said links can be easily found when needed only here and there is challenging... which is why using that bottom section that already exists would be the best option.

Remember you can copy an item ID and go to the awardicon show to send that way. Admittedly, doing that will be much easier once I've figured out why those menus are doing what they're doing. LOL

That said, I DO think that with the dynamic option enabled, it would be a good thing (and not terribly inefficient) to try having that bottom section show up as normal on those dynamically loading pages.
