Noticing Newbies

Hello! I'm Captain KitKat, but you can call me Kit, KitKat, Captain Kit, Captain, or Cap. Basically, just call me whatever. I joined this website a few days ago and I am both excited and slightly nervous to be here. I wanted to find a place to get constructive criticism so I could improve my writing, and this seems to be a good place for it, so here I am I've been a bookworm my whole life and I've always enjoyed stories, so I decided to give a try at creating my own!

Random facts about me:

• I like Spider-Man (as in the comic-book character Peter Parker, not really a fan of the live-actions)

• I've been playing video games for almost as long as I've been reading, which would be when I was around 2-3. My mom was also an avid reader so I guess I inherited that from her, and why I could read at such a young age.

• I have writer's block and have been struggling to get ideas out of my head and into words, so I might not post works as often as I feel I should. I also think a bit too much about plot to find it easy to write flash fiction, so I'm planning to work on how much exposition I need to tell a story and how to incorporate it into my works more smoothly without info-dumping.

I look forward to getting familiarized with handles and some of the different members on this site!
