A warm welcome to our newbies; come meet new and not-so-new members of Writing.Com! |
Hi there, I am a noob who is actually not really a noob - I was on WdC for several years then took about 10 years away before returning with a new portfolio (okay, okay, I can't remember the login credentials for my other portfolio, so I had to make a new one). As such, I do remember some things about the site, but other things I cannot remember at all. I created a messaging forum to fill a void. I work in the industry and have several years of in-house experience in a few different departments relating to acquisitions, editorial, design, and production. I know there is quite a bit of information given that is, though well meaning, not always 100% accurate. I thought it would be fun to create a message forum to discuss all things publishing related. I almost have the forum creation completed, but I'm wondering...now what? I can't remember how to spread the word that it exists. Is there a way to do that? I'm not looking for reviews, I just want writers to know that if they have a publishing-related question, I may be able to help them with the answer or at least to point them in the right direction to find the answer on their own. Is there a forum or something or a place you go to list forums like this so people can find them? I have no idea. Here's the link:
Thanks so much in advance for any information on this. |
