Weekly Goals

Well! I made it through all my agent notes, found a more satisfying ending for Scott, and in fact, made substantial revisions to the entire final chapter. I shipped it off to my agent. She acknowledged receipt but has not yet read.

Then... I did not simply do a read-through of LM Summer, I completed revisions on it! I wrote what I believe was the key missing scene, a mere 850 words, but utterly necessary. It was a great week. I finished today and will take tomorrow off (except for writing my weekly column, which I typically do on Tuesdays). This means that by Wednesday I should be cracking open the next book, LM Fall, for the first time in well over a year. Very exciting! I only promise to open it and fiddle with the prologue and first chapter this week. I have a planned trip to visit my parents and that cuts into writing time. But I will be at least looking at and revising the opening.
