I was inspired by the "friendly ghost" prompt, but ended up going with "a broken curse", since it was an easier detail to include - you'll see why. I still think it technically fits both prompts, though (and friendly ghost better). I just don't want to get dinged for not fitting the prompt in its intended use! Again, hopefully you'll understand when you read it.

This is my first real foray into horror, and I super enjoyed it. I hope you do too!
