Heya, William, thank you for your entry! I'm glad you enjoyed your first foray into writing horror!

I won't be reading the entries until the contest closes, but if you say the prompt(s) can be understood while reading, then I'll tell you I'm a pretty understanding person.

I am a little concerned that you say the tale fits the "friendly ghost" prompt best, seeing as how that prompt goes with the "paranormal" genre in this contest, and you don't even have "paranormal" as one of the genres for the story. But if you say that's as things should be, then I believe you and I'll heartily look forward to reading your entry after the deadline.
