Personal Essay Contest

I hope you understand, P. I never liked the idea of judging art in the first place.

The few comps I have entered, although I believe they helped bring out the best in my abilities, unfortunately, others didn't quite see it that way. C'est la vie.

Nowadays , I'm not that keen to put myself out there in a completive environment. But I do want others to read the stories I produce in the hope that they will feel something like what I did when I wrote them. Now that's a good reason to write and if that happens, I am a winner.

I will say hi to mum for you tomorrow. She still has her mind and I know for a fact that she remembers you because we still talk about you. That and the fact she never forgets the good people she's met. Actually, she doesn't forget much at all considering she just turned eighty eight.
