I love the book. But there are many out there who don't. It's because of what I wrote in my review: politics (real politics of the Congo and political leaders), religion, and racial differences. But if you're okay with how those may be portrayed, then I'd say definitely read this book. I truly think it's one of my favorite books of all time. *Heart*
