The Contest Challenge

Okay, you're going to have to start ACTUALLY looking at the contests you want to enter for 2017 and 2018 by checking the Previously Highlighted Contests 2017 dropnote and Previously Highlighted Contests 2018 dropnote because I've given you all the credit for closed contests I can. All the remaining months in 2017 and 2018 have at least one open contest you can enter.

This is very important that you understand how to find the contests you are supposed to enter. Please go to "The Contest Challenge"  and see what I'm looking at, if you haven't already figured out how to tell which contests to enter. In the Previously Highlighted Contests 2017 dropnote, look at March 2017. You have 1 contest that's now been deleted. It shows as Invalid Item. Then you have "The Comedy Club Contest" . But when you click to look at the contest, the description says it's closed. I appreciate when they do that, though putting it in the title is even better. So, that's 2 contests you can't enter for March 2017. But the 3rd contest highlighted in March was "SCREAMS!!!" . You CAN enter that one.

So, using the current prompt, write an entry for "SCREAMS!!!" . Then, when you come to "The Contest Challenge"  to post your entry, you title the post "Screams March 2017" or something similar. Then in the body of the post in my challenge forum, you post proof that you entered by posting {post:#######}. Don't post your bitem link. That only proves you wrote something. It doesn't prove you actually entered the contest. Of course, don't post a link to the contest's main page. That also doesn't prove you entered (unless I go digging through the forum). It only proves the contest exists. I want a link to your post in the contest forum where you actually submitted your entry.

Anyway, I'll count this for February 2017. You've now covered every time I highlighted "The Writer's Cramp"  and every month in 2017 and 2018 that don't have an open contest for you to enter. Please let me know if you are still unsure how to choose a contest to enter.
