A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
Hi, I made a breakthrough today. I got a lead to check out Google. doc, but I checked out the spreadsheet..google instead. I found a spreadsheet geared mainly toward a work schedule. I took it, changed the titles, and modified it to fit my needs. Across the top I have chapter, Scene, plot, POV, major event setting, clues, protagonist, antagonist, and suspects, and if I need to add something I can add another column. So far, I have my Prologue filled in except they haven't found the body yet. He met someone he knew on the beach and argued. I have the option of having her leave or end up dead too. Not sure yet. So far, it's working like a dream. I'll probably make a chap./sheet. As I go along, I found myself making notes about the setting and weather. MAN, what a set-up for my outline and it flows across so easily and right into the next chap. OH YEA, did I mention it is FREE and not complicated? Kristina |
