Weekly Goals

I'm getting back into the whole goal-setting thing (again). To start with, it's to keep my good writing streak going and help me make sure I get some writing projects done before submission deadlines, specifically for some of the few Danish markets out there. Ideally, it will help me get back into reviewing more regularly as well.

So in order of importance:

Finish first round edits on my Danish science fiction story: There's a call of the only regularly published Danish science fiction anthology. The deadline is some months away, and I have a rough draft written. However, I'm still not sure it's a good enough story. I need to finish my first round of editing and then put the story down for a while and figure out if it's worth submitting or I need to write something new.

Two part goal; start working on Danish horror short story: There's another, rare, call for a Danish online magazine which actually pays pretty well. They have no genre requirements, and I have a loose idea for a sort of horror story, which I want to write. It's a pretty short piece, so I think part might be able to outline and start writing in the same week, making my goal for this story two-fold. Part 1, outline the story. Part 2, start writing the first draft.

Write every day: Pretty self-explanatory. I need to keep up my good writing habits from the previous few weeks.

Do a WYRM review: Another regular goal of mine. I've been focusing a lot on writing lately but not enough on contributing to the WYRM review group.

Do a Codex review: As always, lowest on my list, I need to be more active in the Codex forum, ideally by reviewing.
