IMO it can't be Cassie, for the simple reason that it's absolutely too obvious. It could be Lisa bc she did spend enough time with him to make him carry a crush, then grudge for her when she claimed that they just hung out for the summer. It was never actually explained why she just cut him off like she did. It could be none of the above, possibly someone who Will with a bad homelife who Will happened to show an ounce of kindness to once and doesn't know how to express herself. Guys never know what little action will draw a girls attention sometimes. If I were to write it , I would make it Maria or someone from way in left field from a line way early in the thread that just seemed to be a throw away line when first read just to mess with the reader.
