Welcome to Writing.Com, SamiJoe Author Icon. I'm sure you'll get the feedback you desire whatever you decide to post. Like you, I always thought about writing a novel. After a bit I decided that wasn't for me. And like you I turned to short stories and essays. But I love form poetry--poems that fit some structure from Limericks to Haiku to Sonnets.

What you'll find here is a membership that supports any type of writing you want to post. It looks like you figured out how to get your Portfolio set up. Congrats!
