There is more than one way to store digital photos. External hard drive and USB flash drive (Amazon); or iCloud, Google Photos, or Flickr (Online) to name a few. You can google those and buy or use them online. It's up to you. I use a USB stick, but I don't have that many photos. And it may differ if you have them on your PC or your phone.
