Usually, I'm okay with one-off payments, but their price is really expensive for that. Maybe they want to discourage that as you don't get software updates if you subscribe.
I never like subscribing to things and especially paying for it in USD so I totally understand Sharmy. This one looks less difficult to use than Scrivener, doesn't it?
