You know the saying - You can run but you cannot hide. Or this - be sure your sins will find you out.

Okay, my thoughts. Daily abuse of any kind will make anyone snap. I don't fault her for that anger. But I don't see that a stabbing attempt will kill him. Somehow, evil always wins a small battle. So he survives and now is on the hunt for his wife. And he is madder than ever.

She can change identities, but her husband has the ability to search for her using the police force and all its contacts. So she has to go underground in a major way. And perhaps she gets wrapped up in some very ugly stuff that puts what she went through with her husband seem minor.
