Thanks for your May reviews. Your first one made me smile. While I do find Charles Dickens amusing, I've never read Kingsolver (nor do I have any desire to) and I don't agree with Pulitzer Prize winners all that often. I think it's because the judges each year are the same kinds of people, chosen by the same kinds of people. And I am not their kind of person. I like things because they hook me and hold me close and tell me a good story. Not because the first couple of pages have fifty separate words that are longer than ten letters. Okay. I'm really off on a tangent now. I hear you. That's what I'm saying.
