The title of your post here is "December." I want it to be titled "Like a Song Poetry Contest" or "Like a Song Poetry" or even "Like a Song" is good enough. That way, I can scroll through the forum and count entries for each contest. I want every contest to get 5 entries. So far... Like a Song -- 4/5 Love is in the Air -- 3/5 Starting Stories -- 1/5 Every contest (hopefully) gets to be on top of the list when I advertise on the Newsfeed. But if I have a contest with 5 entries when I'm advertising, unless it's not made it to the top of the list yet, it usually doesn't get featured first anymore. So, for now, looking at the numbers, all 3 will get their chance at the rotation still (though I don't think Starting Stories has been listed first yet...though I might be remembering wrong, but it's early in the month and it's at the bottom, so it likely hasn't been on the top of the list on the Newsfeed). Probably by mid-month, Like a Song won't be on the top of the list anymore. That's common for the poetry ones since people who are just trying to get something knocked out will typically choose a poetry contest since poems are really short compared to stories. Then we will see how the other 2 fair as the month goes on. Maybe you've seen me advertising that 1 or 2 contests need more entries. The way I know is I quickly scan the forum for contest titles to count how many entries each has. That's why I like the title of the forum post here to be the title of the contest, if that makes sense. So, for a current entry, title your forum post here... Like a Song or something similar. Like a Song -- December (also acceptable, but more work for you) When catching up because you missed a month (or several), please title your forum post here... Like a Song -- December 2024 (or some variation of that so I know you are catching up, not just confused, and so I give you the credit for the correct month/year) If you aren't sure what to do, check to see what other folks are doing. Most of them are doing it close enough. lol Also, you can always check the page just above the forum.  I hope this helps!  |
