This week, I’m working on a theme and program for next year’s "Winter Feast." It’s currently called the “Holiday Gathering” and, while not faith-based, it’s held in a Presbyterian Church hall. I want to ensure the event feels welcoming and inclusive for everyone—regardless of faith or belief—by rethinking the name, decorations, and overall approach. My goal is to make it a true celebration of community and togetherness for all.
After being sick for the past two weeks, I also want to spot clean my house. I'm older so it won't be done in a day, but at least it will be done before Christmas.
Other than that, there's the 110" X 110" Afghan blanket I am crocheting. I legally blind and only have about three feet left to do, so this - which started out as a huge undertaking will end a huge accomplishment. Oh, and I will also finish the scarf I am crocheting for my son.
