Photo-references are kind of popular, I know, so I thought I'd mark my return by sharing a few new ones.

I guess these could be considered the "Big Three" of Westside High. First is Chelsea Cooper, head cheerleader.



I guess most everyone knows who she is. I'll just say of this picture that it captures at least one side of her personality: the effervescent, enthusiastic side. And yet I can also picture this face cracking into a rictus of psychotic fury when crossed. But maybe that's just me.

Next up is her boyfriend, Gordon Black:



This is a photo-reference that I made during my break, and I'm not entirely happy with it. That's pretty much what he looks like in my head -- all hulking heft, with a buzz cut. But the face is just a little young. I may wind up tweaking this one.

Last is Steve Patterson, Gordon's best friend:



This is another photo-reference I made during the break, and it's just about perfect AFAIC. I'd hate to see 6'6" and 180 225 pounds of muscle, with that expression fixed on me, coming in my direction.
