I've added a new entry to my book, "Weekly Poetry Challenge FiveOpen in new Window.:
" week 20 prompt Watching the News Zenith Open in new Window.

Watching the News Zenith

In the morning, watching the news
It seems nothing but gloom and doom.
Politicians spreading more lies.
I turn it off, feeling the blues.
Puts me in a very bad mood.
Watching pundits spinning, truth dies
I wonder what does this all mean?
How will of this impact me?
Watching the whole wide world go mad,
In the end, it is about the green.
Will business go on a crime spree?
It just makes me feel bad, mad and sad.
