Goals: Building new foundations (2025.01.13)
by Tobber Author IconMail Icon
This is going to be a crazy busy week at work, but I'm still going to up my goals a bit from last week and try to build a solid foundation for the rest of the year.

The writing goals:

*Box* Write every day: Same as always. I need to get some writing, editing, or outlining done every day.

*Box* Continue edits on my novelette: I did a lot of work last week on this one. Now, I just have to keep up the pace.

*Box* Continue outline for Danish SF story: Hopefully, I should have the outline done at the end of the week so that I can starting writing next week.

The reading goals

*Box* Finish reading This Is How You Lose The Time War: Should be a simple enough goal to achieve, but I still want to keep the reminder to actually get it done.

*Box* Do a review: Catch-up goal from last week. I have a nearly done review I just need to finish.

*Box* Do an additional review: After that, I can hopefully manage another review.

The sort of writing-related goals:

*Box* Do vocal exercises: As always, I want to do the exercises at least once a day.

*Box* Get exercise and eat healthy: This one is going to be tough this week, what with long days at work. But I'm still aiming for two training sessions/runs throughout the week, small exercises in the in-between days, and generally avoiding snacking and overeating.

*Box* Do work for Fantasticon: I've fallen a bit behind on work for our local SF&F con. I hope to catch up this week before our next meeting.
