Motivate yourself to conquer your goals this week! Post on Monday; update us on Friday! |
My good start to the new year took a hit last week with everyone in the house (including myself) being sick and writing/reading not really being a priority at all. So, I'll try to start up again, scaling down my goals a bit so that I stand a chance even if life decides to throw a bunch chaos my way again. The writing goals: Write every day: Same top priority as always. I need to get some writing, editing, or outlining done every day. Continue edits on my novelette: I got a little done last week before I got sick, but I would really like to finish my first round of edits this week. Continue outline for Danish SF story: The March deadline is fast approaching, so I need to start working on this story. "Other" goals (more or less related to writing): Do a review: Being sick also meant I didn't read nearly as much here on WdC as I thought I would last week. Hopefully, I can get back into reviewing gear again. Get exercise and eat healthy: As always, I'm vague about this one. Especially this week, though. Being sick didn't do wonders for my exercise and eating habits, so I just need to get started again, focusing on what I eat and getting a bit of daily exercise. The extra stuff which I'm not really counting as goals unless I suddenly find myself with a lot of extra time and energy at hand: - Additional reviews: I'm secretly hoping this will happen, but I don't want to pressure myself too much. - Do vocal exercises: This is normally on my list of goals for the week, but with a sore throat and coughing still going on, I don't think I'll be able to start doing my exercises this week. - Do work for Fantasticon: This is relatively minor task and really one I should get done, but I just don't think I'll be able to prioritize it this week. |
