Noticing Newbies

I am an on-off writer who has been trying to go it alone with mixed results.

Why am I here?
I am hoping to make my writing less on and off, and I want my results to be a little more consistent.
I want to be part of a writing community.
I want writing to be fun again.

Incidentally, I am also a member of a book club.We read one book every month.

Though some books are a slog, I don't think that I can do better.
Most of the time I know for sure that I cannot.

If I could write something that isn't pure cringe, it would really boost my spirits.

And if, and when, I achieve this, I would love to be able to share the results with somebody.
