Noticing Newbies

It's been a while since I have written! But I had some poems living in me just waiting to come out!! So here I am :) I have uploaded 2 poems I have been working on for some time. They take a deep dive into the emotions I felt after I lost my first love to Alcohol addiction. Not lost in the sense that he passed away, but they he became consumed by the addiction and it destroyed our relationship. It was very difficult to heal from and find closure, as it wasn't because we fell out of love on either side. I moved on far too quickly and hid in other relationships from the pain. But it's true what they say about pain, it "demands to felt." So this has been way of working through the stored pain. And providing clarity and meaning to that time in my life and my heart.
