You might check out "Gift Points" Open in new Window. and the Recommended Readings at the end of this entry for more on the use of gift points. Simply put, everyone uses them differently. Some offer GPs when they do a review; many don't. Some offer GPs to reviewers who take time to offer constructive feedback on their work. The amount of GPs varies from person to person. There is NO set formula.

WDC's Reference Guide, "Writing.Com 101" Open in new Window., provides a lot of information on the workings of the site. Check it out as you have time.
