An interesting album. My father thought the Beatles "lost it" with Revolver and he could not stand Sgt Pepper's.... When I discovered them as a pre-teen (after he died) I didn't understand where he was coming from. Sgt Pepper's was the first studio album I bought by the Beatles, in 1987 with a special 20th Anniversary edition (special in that it had a poster with it!). It has a special place in my heart. It was so different to everything I'd heard before, even if my favourite song is on Revolver and my favourite album is Abbey Road.
