The writer who enters the story.

If you're afraid I'm going to feed every entry into an AI detector, fear not. I'm not into sucking all the joy out of this.

But if I, a reader with experience reading the soulless sludge that AI comes up with, suspect a story that stands a chance of winning a prize is AI-generated, I have a phone-a-friend option in the form of a high school English/writing teacher who's a pro at confirming these things.

In the end, this is supposed to be a fun workout for people who enjoy writing. I do my best to avoid taking away from that.
