OMG, jokes. The ones I care to remember are so nerdy...  I've been thinking recently about the "chop, chop, likee soupee?" joke. There's an African version and a Chinese version. At an important UN conference, an American dignitary and a Chinese dignitary are sitting next to each other during lunch. With every course, the American said to the Chinese, "likee soupee? Likee fishee?" And the Chinese only smiled and nodded. When they stood up to give their speeches, the Chinese spoke in a respectable Oxford accent, discussing the issues at hand in a clear and enlightening way to rounds of applause. After finishing, he came up to the American and said with a smile, "So, likee speechee?" |
