Update for the week of August 18 to 24, 2025
Writing:
Write 750 words a day - Only 2851 words for the week. Lots of copy and paste this week,
I did my Morning Pages by hand each day and asked for guidance when needed.
I did my check ins for Dragon Vale and Habit Heroes a few times this week.
Do a contest entry for WDC and a short story for The Bradbury. Not this week ?
Review 6 stories on Deadlines for Writers. Not yet.
I posted my Treasure poem on Wednesday to Deadlines for Writers and did my 4 reviews.
Participate in as many writing events as I am able:
Mon. to Fri. 9 am Cre8tive Collection - all but Thursday.
Tues. 7 pm Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting workshop - I watched this and participated in the chat as I was in Stratford for another play (Anne of Green Gables)
Tues. 7 pm Fiction Forge Workshop - can do replay.
Thurs. 7 pm Cre8tive Collection.
Continue Substack workshop stuff that I copied.

Reading:
Goodreads 2025 Reading Challenge: 30 books. Read 27 books so far.

Work:
Work with Kyle this week -Thursday - this will be our last swim day of the summer.
Organize 2024 / 2025 year and 'put it to bed'

Health:
6K steps a day - 5 days over 6K and 3 of those days over 10K.
Meditation - at least one a day, usually evening, but some mornings as well.
Water - drink at least 1000 ml a day. Doing a bit better with this. but I need to drink earlier in the day and not just before bed or I am up 2-3 times in the night.
Body Groove - Do a variety of sessions that work range of motion but don't put weigh on my left healing dislocated elbow - none.
Do my physio exercises to increase the range of motion in my left elbow *Checkg* still tender, my shoulder is also bothering me.
No eating after 8 pm. Struggled with this a bit.
No screen time after 9 pm. Struggled a bit... especially with reading apps.
Continue to re-establish my bed time after time for closer to 10:30 pm. trying... as the cat won't let me sleep in much.

Other:
Take out Green and Blue Recycling bins. *Checkg*
Take an Artist Date: went to see Anne of Green Gables at the Stratford (Avon) Festival at 2 pm on Tuesday. Left at 10 am and returned at 10 pm. Great day.
Getting my Online presence back. Worked with Michelle on Monday afternoon to get back Amazon, Wordpress, Fitbit (issues) and namecheap.com for my domain name.
Gardening - not much.
Housecleaning - not much
Help mother manage her finances and other things (laundry, meals, etc.) - got some back tax payments taken care of...
Make appointment with her Cardiologist. Not yet.
Make a hair appointment for my mother Not yet.
Get the rest of the POA stuff to the proper places.
Get her to do her activities to have her urine tested and return the samples to the lab.
