Question of the Day!

He was a poet active in the beginning of the 20th century about a hundred years ago. Langston Hughes was a black poet who was part of the Harlem Renesance, an artistic movement named after a neighborhood in New York City. Hughes wrote poems about "real life" for black people of his time.(Unfortunately the term **gro was still socially acceptable so some of his works have not aged well.) He wrote about important issues for African Americans and helped people be proud to be a member of that ethnic group.(OT did I mention I have no idea how to spell Reneesance?)
