Question of the Day!

Tween and teen crushes. Oh my goodness. I'm going to embarrass myself.

I had posters of pretty much any current idol of the day. One of the reasons I had so many posters is because I bought the weekly teen magazine BRAVO   that always had a poster. Usually, two different current celebrities on each side, so I had to make a choice! I think I bought BRAVO every week for three or four years and then I outgrew it.

To be honest, I don't think there was ever a single one celebrity who would stand out to me now, seen from a distance. I was always aware that these people didn't live in any kind of universe that I have anything to do with. They were adults and I was a kid. It was all very abstract and I had a solid friend group with crushes on boys that were age appropriate and also right there.

Once I got into listening to music around the time I turned 13, I chose band posters. Those bands were even more removed from my reality because of ticket prices, tour dates, staying up late was out of the question, and other considerations.

Huh. This was a fun trip down memory lane.
