Just to be clear--I'm pressing the gear (Editor Settings) at the far right end of the Edit Icon line. When I select that, I see the following boxes:

First: Switch to Classic Editor
Second: Text Input (with several options)
Third: Editor Display (I can zoom in/out)
Fourth: Default Font and Size
Fifth: Block Markers (Show colored markers in the left margin to identify block elements)
Sixth: Link Behavior Enable (Ctrl+Click to Open Links)

I don't see what you describe.
