The tales of your pet. Has your furry friend made you laugh, cry, rant & rave. |
Lexi, short for Alexis, was only seven or eight weeks old when we aquired her. She's a beautiful Golden Retriever, but the runt of ten puppies (huge litter, no?). So Lexi was one of those dogs who, having been used to being on her own, ignored humans. One morning, at about six, I heard my mom screaming, "No!" I climbed out of bed, readily awake (after all, when there are new puppies to play with, who wouldn't be awake?) When I got downstairs, Mom had the vaccuum out, and was cleaning up a pile of dirt. There was no question what had happened, and as for the culprit, well, the evidence was all over her paws and face. Lexi was a lucky little girl. She almost didn't survive the first week with Mom, she was so much trouble. But we love her. And now, she only digs around the chipmunk holes. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** "Bad spellers of the world UNTIE!" You are what you e-mail: don't be SPAM! |
