About dvds and videos... If you have a multi-region dvd player, then you can play any kinda of dvds or vcds on them, from any country. In USA, you have region one, Europe is region 2, so if you only have your country's player, with single region setting, then you can't play them! As for videos, in England we have VHS PAL/SECAM, and it's the same in Australia and most of Europe. USA is VHS NTSC, and will only play on newer VCRs with NTSC playback as well as PAL playback. I can play everything on my VCR and DVD player coz I paid extra especially so I can get stuff online before it comes out here in the UK! God, how sad am I for knowing all this crap?! lol.
