Ellie! I'm so happy to see you again! I love it when I see a post from Karen Carpenter.

I will most definitely send you US cups and spoons, too, because I have a feeling that the recipes I sent make no sense! Am I right?! I'm dying to know how British cooks measure! Do you have little spoons that say ".17 oz" (the equivalent of our teaspoon...or tablespoon, I think) and stuff? Is it true that you measure everything by weight? I would love to send you more recipes, Ellie, that is, if you want. And of course I want yours, too, and Yana's.

I'm mailing you some materials for your quilt today, since I'm sure you noticed there were none with my letter. They're not the best fabrics, but I can send you more once I'm back in Eureka, since I have all my favorites there.
