In the winter, we're the same as the east. In the summer, we're the same as central.

That's so...confusing and awesome! I would feel so cool getting to share time zones with two sides of the country!

Hehe -- I think you've miscalculated, my pet. At 11:45 AM here, it will be 2:45 PM there! California is behind, not ahead. Heck, I feel like the rest of the world is ahead of me, except Hawaii, of course (and probably other areas I'm forgetting)!
