I'm so glad you know what it is! I tried making it the other day, but I don't have access to ghee, the kind of shortening it's usually made with, and I'm sure it's cooked a certain way that our conventional oven can't offer.
Apple bread...walnut bread...nope! Are there whole apples in the bread? I've made stuff similar to that, though. I like breads very moist and succulent, and I'm sure apple bread is luscious!
Do you have banana bread, corn bread, or squash bread in England?
