I agree with you about everything you said about 9/11 Fea. I felt the exact same way. I was shocked when I heard the news, it made me sick to my stomach, and I nearly cried every time I saw people grieving on tv, or searching for survivers..
But some things, like Fea said, made me kinda resent Americans too.. And that while America had always been the country of my dreams, and in my eyes everything about the US was good and perfect..
Funny how in my eyes all Americans were the same (well not all, not the people I knew) while that was one of the things I resented about Americans at that time, blaming people who had nothing to do with it just because of where they came from, generalizing..

I pray on bended knees Bush won't get re-elected!!

Same here!! This’ll be my first too! I've always wanted to go on a road trip though!

I understand how you don't want to be using your issues as an excuse for not having to re-take an exam. I've actually been in a situation like that too, and I also chose to keep my mouth shut and just do the exam again. I really didn't want to talk about all that was going on, esp not to the person who could help me with the exam if I would tell her, I would much rather just take the exam again.
Anyway, I hope you'll be able to work out your issues, if you ever decide you want to tell us about it anyway, please do, we really care about you, and I would do everything I could to help you.
