A Visit to the Mortuary

She was posed upon a satin pillow
A morbid gesture I must consider
Of whether to purchase a thin old pad
For the eternal repose of my sister

How much comfort does the dead need
Would her back ache from a sagging spring
I rebel at buying a BeautyRest
So she can comfortably waits for her wings

The BeautyRest mattress is expensive
The Eternal Rest coffin costs too much dough
Paying for sis I’ll live forever
I owe so much I can’t afford to go
