Very important, for all to see! |
I saw the Passion, too. It stunned me. I knew the story (true story) but to actually have a visual was stunning. Stark images struck like blows...example the blood on the tiles while they were torturing Him and Mother Mary and Mary Mag. trying to wipe up His blood after. Or the scene of Jesus falling and the flash back for Mary, rushing to a fallen Jesus-child to comfort Him...Ahhh, it was amazing. I left there, not knowing what to say or even do. Being an analytical person, I pondered the impact/message this movie gave to me, contributing to my walk with Jesus. It was very simple, really, yet I believe it is a powerful message, for me: "Forgiven not forgranted!" How many times have I, a Christian, asked for forgiveness in Jesus name, never appreciating the fullness of His sacrifice? How many times, almost casually, have I asked to be washed clean by the blood of Christ? This bold visual realization that He had to go through this for me, that He willing did this and God, painfully but willingly, held His hand from stopping it because He loved me so much...loved you so much...Yep, I've seen the movie...Kristi ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
