Well, oof, I'm on unsure ground here, but I THINK the deal is that diabetes is a disease that is simply classified by its symptoms. Like, if your body has trouble processes sugar to a certain degree, you have diabetes. But that's just a symptom, right? So with Stevie following a careful diet, his body was able to process sugars better -- and the symptom went away -- and thus his diabetes went away. I THINK that's how it worked, but don't dare cite me on that, because Rachel's the medicine woman around here, not me. I think Rachel worries a lot less than she used to. It's weird. She's, like mature now, dude! Strange. My older sister is all grown up into a thoughtful, quiet, knowledgable young woman with intense eyes and the most infectious, gurgly laugh. I swear, I'd be in love with her if she wasn't my sister. Heck, I'll say it -- I'm madly, passionately, hopelessly in love with her! My sister is so terrific. *does the happy sibling dance* Book titles. Hmmm. Actually, I'll have to get back to you on that, because Rachel and Cherie are the ones who'd really know which books are the good ones, and they're not here right now. I won't forget to ask them, though! Does it sap my energy? Yeah. Sigh. I don't know if we'll perform in the June dance. I'm hoping so, but we have to ask Liz about doing one of our pieces, and who the heck knows what she'll say. She's very impulsive and, er, unfeeling. Who the heck knows. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
