I got ignored last time I posted here but I'm going to ask a question this time simply because I really have not found anyone yet who could sufficiently answer it for me.
Do you suggest posting / listing your writing.com portfolio when submitting work to an editor or publisher? Like those horrid query letters for an author who has yet to have anything published on paper is just a cruel form of an empty resume.
I've had mixed replies so far - some say its good to mention the writing.com portfolio because it shows your work and how it has been received by the public and others say what it is not professional and that most editor/publishers are not interested in looking at your frivolous writing on some internet site.
Opinions and thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.
Thanks
