Your Pet Did What???Tell Me, Tell Me!!

Labs are supposed to like the water. So I've heard. Well, I can guarantee our lab mix sure doesn't! Maybe it's the chow in him.

Anyway, the other day when it was pretty hot (he's an outside dog and prefers it that way), my son decided he should cool off and filled a container with water and threw it on him. DJ (our dog) ran as far away from as he could. And dogs have wonderful memories, because a few days later, my daughter took a similar container out to feed him, and he ran away from her! She couldn't figure out what the problem was since he just adores her. Until I saw the container. He was just fine as soon as she put it down.

This is the same dog who will sit outside while it's raining instead of going inside his dog house!

And, it's the same dog who threw snowballs back at my daughter when she was throwing them at him. He watched her for a while, then dug his nose down into the snow and pushed it up at her! It was hilarious. I still wish we'd gotten that on film.
