I hardly ever wear bras. When I used to wear bras, I never wore real ones; just sports bras. Now I wear them for dancing or vigorous exercise, or if I'm wearing a really skimy shirt. No other times. I must've stopped wearing them a year or so ago. Now, when I wear one, it feels so tight and binding and confining and icky! Cherie never wears a bra. Rachel wears a bra, or a substitute, like an undershirt or tight tank top under her shirt, or a sports bra. She's much smaller-busted than Cher and I are, so for her it's not so much a matter of support but just privacy, I guess. She says she doesn't like to feel exposed. I hear her on that. Jimmy and I and Rachel and Cherie (ever the sociologist) and Steve have a theory that we're due for a revolution right around next year. The '60s hippie movement started, according to some "experts," in 1965, and social trends often go in 40-year cycles. Wouldn't it be cool if we had another 60s/hippie revolution exactly 40 years after the first?! And 40 years before that, it was the 20s, when society exploded and the Flapper era began and everythign. I love cycles.... Visit my web site at http://elizabeth.bouma-holtrop.com! |
