On TV, very silent and quiet evening

In the background, as I huddle together in this thick exotic chair, I hear the music of the midst of the dark lonely depression days. As we thought, that they were bewildered with sorrow and fright, this music is so upbeat! Felix the Cat is swinging his hips, dancing joyfully with a telephone pole. I could laugh at the silent film, but its beauty is magnifying, I wonder where did we fall apart? This is the 21st century, we are not in a depression, in a mere war that isn't nearly as rough as the Vietnam or World War II. As it clicks off, I want to grab the immortality..Back to reality.
